Happy Birthday Ian

This year you wanted to be just like your Uncle Jordan and having a donut cake. Daddy went and picked up 2 dozen chocolate Krispy Kreme Donuts and we piled them up and stuck a candle at the top. I asked what you wanted for your birthday and you said " a pirate costume". Ian you love to dress up and play with your younger brother and sister. On of your favorite things to dress up is a pirate and you wanted a new costume with an eye patch. I could not find a pirate costume but I did find a viking costume from the movie How to Train your Dragon. You also got some Toy Story Lego's and some cool puzzles.
"Look at my cool costume".

"Look at all my toys".

The grim reaper and the fire fighter

" I am ready to fight fires".

I know that I am out of order since I just posted on Christmas but I am trying to catch up. This Halloween was a little different this year daddy had to go on a business trip to Oregon and was not able to be there. We made sure that we took alot of pictures so that your daddy would not be left out. This year you wanted to be a Fire Fighter. We always go to Granddaddy and Memaw's house with all of your cousins and aunts and uncles to go trick or treating with. You got alot of candy this year and I think it took you only a few days to eat all of it with out getting a tummy ache.

Christmas 2009

"Mom do I need to keep smiling I want to open my present".

When we woke up on Christmas morning our power had gone out because it was so windy the night before. We had to all wait in mommy and daddy's room until the sun came up and gave us so light so we could see what Santa had brought. To pass the time you guys played with the toys that you got from Angela and Victor on Christmas Eve.

Ian and Jaxon waiting to go and open presents on Christmas Eve from Angela, and Victor.

Decorating the Christmas tree 2009

After the tree was all done. This year our tree was so tall we could not even turn the fan on our bye, bye, tree.
Ian make sure you look where you are putting your ornament.

Look you boys are so fascinated in looking at Madison's Ballerina.

Mouth

A little behind your nickname Mouth (which your daddy gave you) you always are making noises and have to be heard. You love to sing at the top of your lungs and want to make sure everyone can hear you. Sometimes you will just go through the house screaming just so you can be heard and trust me you are heard. Ian this past year you started Kindergarten and have done really well. Just last month your school wanted to test you for a gifted program called Horizon. We have not found out the result yet but I know that you did well. You love to read or at least try to. You will go and get one of mommy and daddy's Harry Potter books and take it to bed to read. You will come out the next morning and say look I am on chapter 3 or look I finished the book already. I love that you are trying your best at reading. You are still working on being quiet at school and it will take some time but you will get it. You always want to be doing something and do not like sitting down for long periods of time doing nothing (I do not like to do that either). Ian you are full of energy and always keep your father and I on our toes.
